Venture Concept No.2

My re-vised Venture concept will be consisting of a qualitative and quantitative approach for financial metrics. Qualitative in the sense we will be conducting conducive feedback from our customers on their satisfaction, the product performance, and time convenience saved and reimbursement cycle time. The quantitative measurement will be solely off our company's financial statements. People recommended that my services should be cost-effective and I should take considerable understanding into my capital allocation, and develop our brand recognition in a 3-5 year horizon considering that I want the company to grow long term, vs selling the company. My main goal is to avoid a high turn over rate, and that is conducive of why I want a low number of employees early on to keep my operating expenses at a minimum because with any business venture comes significant loans to make up for low capital funding.

27A Reading Reflection Number 3

The Wright Brothers book was 100 Percent my favorite and one I am selecting for this assignment. We learn so much from the Wright brothers. They turned so much failure that they experienced in the 1900s with a poorly developed infrastructure for air device development, and created the first plane that is today the most efficient, cost-effective traveling mechanism that everyone in the world uses, with extreme comfort. yet 120 years ago it started with something that could barely fly off the ground. The book helped me think entrepreneurial which is in relation to this class. the general theme of the book was them learning how to overcome their failures, they did not trust most people and to accomplish their goals when people thought they could not pull it off. yet they establishing a problem in society and found a way to solve that problem. My biggest surprise was them having the ability to pull off the first flying mechanism, considering in the early 1900s resources and the odds were against them. The exercise I would implement would definitely have to be a course on failure, when your body and mind are put to failure so you can develop. An example I like a lot is how US Navy Seals are put to failure consistently in their training regime. In physical exercise and mental exercise, and they need to overcome adversity to survive. We do not need to do that in the beautiful country we live in, but for them the stakes are the highest with the loss of their own life if they do not plan meticulously and strategically.

Exit Strategy 28A

I do not intend to sell my company within the next 5 years unless there are astronomical returns. I want to grow the company domestically and globally until i have developed enough cash flow to retire and move to a private island of the Amalfi coast, or live in Brussels, Belgium. But growth for the company is my main venture. I do not believe in quick turn and burn for the company once it sees a positive cash flow in the early life of the company.I do believe having my exit strategy has affected my business acumen and mindset in how I would run the company. As i mentioned before, I want to have low employee numbers early on, keep operating expenses low and loan costs low, until we have developed a mid-enterprise system where we can afford to increase employees, and operating expenses.

26A Celebrating Failure

I would definitely have to say I failed at business Finance a couple times.  I had to withdraw from the class because of the intensity of the class then had to retake it and completely bombed the first exam. Although, I struggled, I ended up pulling through the class and overcame my adversity. I learned that determination and drive play a lot bigger factor in life than you think. If you want to feel fulfilled you need to work at it and overcame adversity and work hard. Do whatever you need to do with your habits and mindset to achieve your goal that you have set in front of you. I would definitely have to say considering I failed that course and re took it last semester, It definitely taught me to take risks, but be smart about your risk taking. I am not talking about jumping out of a plane without a parachute risk, but take risks that are reasonable.

24A Venture Concept

Venture Concept
“Wright Enterprises”
ENT3003
Cody Wright
7/20/2018
My venture concept is a type of software that helps benefit the healthcare industry as a whole and will help keep rapid innovation in these interconnected industries.
Opportunity-
The need is for healthcare personnel that will be utilizing this software and the benefit will be received by the personnel in healthcare as well as the recipients (patients). I believe our software is at the forefront of 21st century innovation. The need is to enable efficient and effective patient care, as well as a dual process that will be helping speed up the reimbursement process for providers in the healthcare industry. So there is a strong need in this market for the personnel as well as the patients. The market is defined as a domestic region of the United States. Customers are satisfying this need through software as a service, but we are here to build upon unmet needs such as, electronic claim submission, instead of paper, faster software than current. So essentially we are building upon a developed product, but improving. This opportunity is huge considering that software as a service is under scrutinized today and within a 3-5 year window it will be enormously developed.
Innovation-
Our software performs at high levels to execute optimal performance through a variety of channels. We will be making money by performing webinars on our software and engaging potential prospects and MQLS (marketing qualified leads). We will make money by charging a monthly and annual rate for our software. We will hold 8-10 products that are delivered to a variety of providers. We will provide our Software as a service for claim submission services, eligibility verification for patients (huge need in that facet), as well data entry software to help organize and keep information up to date, to simplify the administrative and clinical complexities that the healthcare industry has foreseen.  Acute (hospitals), Ambulatory (physician, walk in clinic), Post-Acute (Skilled Nursing facility, home health), and strategic partner (software vendor, special billing service). Prices range on the software and the amount of claims a provider submits. Some can be a monthly range of $75-100, others can range to $5000-6000 a month for some hospitals.
Venture Concept
Our application that is specific is a unique software that addresses claim submission services as a whole, and is implementing faster, more efficient electronic claim submission to speed up the reimbursement process for providers. Essentially we are making money, and contributing to a good cause by getting these providers money back rapidly so they can stay taking care of patients, and providing an efficient data entry software that helps them efficiently and effectively take care of their patients and keep them organized. Would not be very hard. We will establish value, but not only value, but we will be solving a problem and putting money in their pockets, fast. Because who doesn’t want their money back fast? Competitors include, other IT SAAS based companies that are interconnected with Healthcare. Their weaknesses include not being the fastest, up to date software programming. Our major strength is; being the best software engineering and social and human capital that “Wright enterprises” has provided. Packaging is efficient and up to date. We have technical logistical coordinators that have years of experience in a developed market such as Jax, FL, and Shanghai, China. Distribution, customer support have all been laid out and planned. Customer experience is a huge priority because we are aiming for the betterment of patients in healthcare. Business location is Tampa, FL because it is a hub for IT Software development and cloud based securities, and technical developments. I would organize the business to support ongoing production by hiring experienced directors to manage and oversee. Logistics and transportation, Finance, R&D, Marketing, etc. 25-30 Employees to start until we develop positive cash flows, due to the nature of negative cash flows for startups early in their life.  I personally believe it is a good strategy to keep employee numbers low in the early life for startups from observance of other startups and how their earnings stack up and how their financial statements look early  on. We are an innovative, in Demand Company so it could change and we could hire a few hundred employees in a short time span to keep up with upcoming demand in the market place, but I am starting off small as the CEO, considering we are already taking loans and are in debt to start. My philosophy is that you need to spend money to make money, but I believe we have spent a significant amount already.
Three Minor Elements
First- Our most important resource is our social capital and human capital. We have an innovative, diverse group of individuals that have the ability to think on their feet and understand their sector well, and have experience behind them. People of different backgrounds and ethnicity coming together to contribute to a greater good for the healthcare industry. It is near impossible to match our level of intuitive thinking, but not just that, but our drive to help people in the healthcare industry. As well to make money.
Second- Not too sure what is next. But we want to continue to grow and develop an extremely strong brand recognition that is unprecedented and will be a strong brand in the Tampa market that is recognized as a software development hub.
Third- I plan on continuing to run the firm. Because it is something I am passionate about. I love working for a great cause, in helping people and making money. In 5 years I will be 27 years old. I hope to be known as a fortune 500 CEO helping people within the healthcare industry, have an impressive net worth, a diverse group of connections. And traveling to Europe and Dubai on my private plane to help people on a global level and meet likeminded individuals as myself. I hope to build “Wright Enterprises” into something that is not only known as a financial giant but as a means that has helped millions of people.

25A Whats Next

Existing Market
I Believe from speaking with my 3 interviewees that we need to focus on the forefront of outperforming our competitors and what they do to be successful, how can we capitalize on a competitive advantage that we may have. What they do to have financial success and how we can compete. We also need to utilize our resources at hand, and not have too many employees at first until we have a developed brand recognition in an existing market because of us still having negative cash flows, it takes years for us to have positive cash flows. I have a friend that runs a business at 26 and is still in the negatives.
New Market
I believe that a B2C market would be a completely new market we would target. We would definitely need to adjust our strategy in implementing our business principles. From the interviews of the 2 people that we conducted we learned that our business idea will need to be adaptive to the consumers we are targeting, our primary target market. Not a whole sector of business in our B2B strategy that we were planning initially. My assumptions were completely different after speaking with our contacts, and we need to do more innovation into this market.

23A Your Ventures Unfair Advantage

My venture's unfair advantage would be primarily our social capital and human capital. That is empowered through numerous mindsets, various ideas and ways that we can innovate the company. Because with any young company we will have troubles and will not see positive cash flows till years down the road when we are financially stable. Our industry is sustainable and has forecasted demand for the future. But we lack financial capital as a young company and brand recognition as a young company. Although we lack these things, we also possess an unprecedented strength of the intellectual capabilities that some our brightest minds bring to the table. The way we structure our company around innovation and experience has truly shaped our organizational culture. Our 10 capabilities include: Social capital, human capital, human empowerment, innovation, extensive experience, youth, education, and health-oriented mindset, emotional intelligence, ability to communicate.
None of our resources can necessarily fit all the VRIN criteria. But our Human capital fits the VRIN criteria. above all else, because our thought process trumps AI(Valuable) our Education (rare), hard to imitate, there are other resources that can provide a similar benefit, but no where close to us.

22A Elevator pitch (again)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMxgH8HPhR4&feature=youtu.be

21 A. Reading Reflection No.2

The book I choose was "thinking fast and slow"
I enjoy this book because it is based off of human decision making. Being a marketing major that is what we study (human decision making in business). I was able to understand the authors system 1 and system 2 structure, it helped stem creative thinking within myself.
The book helped connect with what we are learning in class by helping us be able to think more creatively. and understanding how risk plays a factor into our decision making through the implementation of system 1 and system 2.
I would create a hands on exercise that stimulates creative thinking, that is what the book made me think. because when you study our thought process you learn how to think creatively. So something outdoors and using your mind for something of that nature.
I dont know what an "aha" moment is, but the way the book made me think and how intellectual, creative thinking came from me was an "aha" moment, I suppose.

20 A Growing your Social Capital

Domain Expert: Andy Richards
Meeting Andy through a connection at UF has helped me learn more about the technical side of running my business and growing it. Andy and I stay in contact with friends on a consistent basis. Considering Andy is a technical expert in IT technology specifically in Marketing, and completing an MBA while combing that with IT experience has brought a groundbreaking area of information for me to grow and learn from his knowledge. Combing my own talents with his and having a broad, strategic positioning for the company, compiling long term growth has been beneficial in our meeting. We both provide each other with different business ideas, that our trade off.
Market Expert: Harry Thomas
Working as a market research analyst in the IT sector has helped me grow as well. Harry works for a similar IT company as mine, that is how we met. and have stayed in contact with meetings. and has habitually placed himself with difficult tasks and has great technical experience to fill me in with company initiatives.
Supplier William Upchurch
Working in Jax, Fl where supply chain and logistics is huge. Has provided Will with great experience and has been able to provide me with valuable info to gain in starting my business. William and I were friends at a prior institution.
All of these people have different backgrounds. So facilitating them in my company will provide great exposure through diversity.
Yes this has shaped how I will pursue networking opportunities by providing differentiation within my connections.

17A Elevator Pitch No.2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPcbImLHzBQ&feature=youtu.be

19A Idea Napkin No.2

Who: I am Cody Wright. My talents are my work ethic, my eagerness to learn, and urge to be great. My skills would be working in a fast paced environment, cold calling, quick learner. My aspirations are to be in a broad, strategic position for a business and utilizing economic empowerment in ways to make technology more effective and more cost effective. This business already plays a major role in my life by working for an Information technology company.
What: I am offering a unique, efficient and cost-effective solution to technology needs for broad range of people in the healthcare field, so they have the ability to do their job more effectively, and that is to save lives. The product would be a software as a service product that healthcare can utilize.
Who: I am offering this product to the healthcare industry. the demographic would be people domestically in the US and people globally in the healthcare industry. My customers all have in common a need to have the most efficient technology to do their job well.
Why: Our customers care because if we can show them that they can save more lives in a cost effective way, then we have established value for them in a way that will help them do their jobs well.
Core Competencies: Our core competencies is our state of the art technology that has been developed in a sense to solve the problems that our customers face, in that those problems are underutilized, inefficient technology. And being the best Information technology SAAS based product on the market is what sets us apart from the rest of our competitors.

18A Create a Customer Avatar

My prototypical customer is someone that is in a younger generation. Someone that is inquisitive and questioning of the way things work and has an eager intent and thirst to learn and better not only themselves on an individual scale but on an environmental scale. The hobbies that my customer would have would be fitness, social networking, learning. The car that my customer is driving is very subjective, but it would be something economical and would better the environment. They most likely do not have children, and if they do it is 1-2 children. They most likely would be adopted with my customer, going back to how they want to help better the environment and the world as a whole. Their favorite books would most likely be crime books, or mysteries. Something that keeps you thinking and wondering what is going to happen next(resorting back to the entrepreneurial, inquisitive mindset). Once again another subjective question. Their favorite politicians are most likely independent. They are most likely between 24 and 35.
Overall, I have a lot in common with this avatar, most of all we are the same type of person, I do not think this is a coincidence.

15A Figuring out Buyer Behavior

John Grillo- John does his picking based upon his primary needs and secondary needs. Considering the first exercise in 14A was solely based on problem solving. John is not only addressing his primary need and how the product will solve his problem, but he is thinking more deeper and analytically on how the smaller, more basic needs are going to be met. Having this open mind provides John with the adequate tool set in finding alternatives.
Mary Wright- Mary looks toward every avenue in finding alternatives. She states that this is the most pragmatic approach in finding out exactly what she needs, and how the competitors fluctuate, therefore giving her an open, external view of every thing that she needs.
Rod Jefferson- Rod was the most quality based interviewee. He was concerned primarily on how his main problem will be solved, I quote what Rod said," The only reason any job is made, is because there is a problem to be solved, and I want my problem solved."
How/Where do they buy? All three candidates participate in show-rooming. They shop online, and browse in the store for the physicality of the products or services.
Post-Purchase Evaluation- Again to sum up the most important quality for all three of them. Is to make sure there problem at hand is being solved efficiently.
Drawing Conclusions- Overall all the shoppers were very similar. They all participate in show-rooming, all want a primary problem solved. But small things were different, specifically in their alternative solutions.

14A Tenacity and Paying it Forward

1. The behaviors that I demonstrated through this course have been unprecedented work ethic, will power, the hunger to be better than everyone in life. Those have been my motivating factors on what keeps me going. Wanting to be at the top of my game, and having an internal locus of control that drives me forward everyday. Whether that is pursuing class requirement goals, or personal and life goals. I have been a determined individual my whole life. My friends, or people that know me will define me as hustler, but not in a derogatory term, but in a positive way.
2. Not just me, but everyone feels like giving up at some point. But, going back to my 1st point, is that the fear of failure far outweighs my temporary feeling of giving up. I believe to be successful you need to do things others do not. Whether that is working more, working smarter, listening, adapting, comprehending. You need to be continuously growing an getting better. There has definitely been times where I felt like giving up with this class. But wanting to develop and open, entrepreneurial mind, and graduate, of course, have kept me going.
3. Three tips I would give are: One, start early. two, overcome mental barriers, learn how to think creatively and innovate. Three, Learn how to disconnect.

13A Reading Reflection Behavior

1. The Wright Brothers
What surprised you the most?
The most intriguing thing to me about the Wright brothers was there bond, yet clashing personalities.
What about the Entrepreneur did you admire the most?
There unprecedented work ethic to achieve their goals, and how much they failed on the path there. They also had independent minds that helped benefit them in the long run.
What about the Entrepreneur did you admire the least?
I did admire their work ethic, but I did not admire there lack of social presence, they had no balance. IT was all work, work, work. As human beings,  I am a firm believer in balance. I am no life expert, but I believe that is a good start.
Did the Entrepreneur encounter adversity?
Yes, the entrepreneur did. Multiple times, a specific example was through their failure with the printing business. But they had multiple failures through the duration of their career.
The competencies were:
Resilience, determination, work ethic, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial, creative mindset, that allowed them to think outside the box with the technical side of their creation.
One part of the reading was confusing
Was how they constructed there projects. Didn't fully understand, but they had to continuously interested.
Two Questions
How the hell were you smart enough to build the first airplane? How many times did you fail in your life on things that meant a lot to you?
The Entrepreneurs opinion of hard work
My opinion of his hard work is being continuously productive. Throughout every endeavor they pursue.

12A Figuring out Buyer Behavior

1. Medicare and medicaid reimbursement is my specific segment in the healthcare industry.
2. Person 1: Robby Taylor: Robby's biggest problems was in how long it takes for his claims to be reimbursed back to him.
Person 2: Corinne Richardson: Her biggest problem was current software being ineffective in claim submittance.
Person 3: Jason Taylor: Wasn't receiving the right amount back on his reimbursement due to medical billing mistakes.
Overall the biggest problem i was able to assess from conducting these interviews was that they are all having problems with their claim reimbursement.
Information Search: These people reach out to family and friends in finding out a solution to their problems, in word of mouth marketing, or searching out different software vendors.
Summarization: I learned that all of these people have an unmet need in getting their reimbursement back.
Draw Conclusions: There is definitely an unmet need here an people are actively looking for ways to solve this complex problem. Whether that is through asking through family, or doing their own research, they are always doing something to find the most feasible solution to their problems. very active in their search, and diligent people.

11A Idea Napkin

My aspirations is to solve clinical problems in the healthcare industry and how we simplify costs for patients and reimbursement processes for providers. Healthcare plays a vital role in my life, as well as everyone else that is a human being
What: I am offering to customers a service that helps solve clinical problems for people in healthcare and extend quality of life for a facet of individuals.
Who are you offering it to: Offering it to patients in healthcare that have severe health problems and have issues with their claim submittance in getting their reimbursement back, by providing an innovative SAAS based platform that will help them get their reimbursement back.
Why do they care: Customers care about this state of the art software because it is helping them get their money back.
What sets us apart: Is the time convenience in getting your reimbursement back, while helping provide a more simplified and structured way in organizing patient history for providers(Hospitals, physicians)

Testing the Hypothesis

Inside the Boundary: Jeff Richards
Need: Improved transportation in the South Florida area, since we are both from south Florida we found a commonality and something that can be improved. The need exists because Jeff is a public commuter and this affects him in every facet.
Kelly Lavalle:
Need: Improved health factors. My article before was a health epidemic and on what to eat and what not. Kelly is also a south Florida native and was able to see that a healthy diet is something that she needs to establish.
Why: This need exists because Kelly is overweight and this could affect her overall health down the road.
Rick Call:
Need: improvement from the Miami Dolphins football offensive line.
The need exits because Rick is an avid Miami Dolphins fan and wants to see improvement from the team.
Steve Benjamin
Need: New moving app.
The need exists: because Steve is consistently moving around the country and something convenient that can be used from an app is feasible for his lifestyle.
Nicole Wright:
Need: Improved Health
The need exists: because Nicole is constantly learning about health trends and wants to be a healthier individual.

Solving the Problem

My opinion of entrepreneurship is that it is assessing opportunities that are given. In my 5A assignment i provide a few opportunities and will be exploiting them. To name a few they were a roster issue with the Miami Dolphins affecting their win percentage, transportation issues and software development to help mask those problems, public justice in criminal law in the Sean Taylor case, another transportation issue in South Florida, and a health epidemic. Whether it is entrepreneurship, sales or life, business is formed around the main idea of one thing, and that is to solve a problem. Most of these issues are public transportation, health and corporate sports settings. I would say that these problems can be solved through knowledge/education. education does not need to be formal, but can be just educating yourself on public issues, for example, transportation on. Having a more knowledgeable informed public on issues in a certain geographical location can go a long way in problem solving. So the solution would be to implement more education, knowledge to combat problems that are general. Such as public transportation, public health.

7A Testing Hypothesis

The Who: IT Software
The what: Efficiently simplifying processes for businesses via Saas
The why: Competitors coming into play, new technology

Others do share this need because everyone needs technology for their business to succeed and be effective.
Boundaries would be the new technology being innovated and rapid growth in the industry.
The why would not stand for everyone. Because in business different consumers, different companies require different needs.
Summarization of interviews
#1 Found that my why statement holds correctly, different consumers and company's have different needs in their software.
#2 Did find that they not only hold different needs, but they all do need something simplified, its that process and the price sensitivity that may be different for these businesses.
#3 Governmental regulations may play a huge factor. As in IT Saas directly to healthcare is rigorous because of rules and laws for medicare, medicaid, government funded action plans.
#4 The who is important because software not only at hospitals, or major services is used in fundamental sectors. Going to a bar and ordering a drink uses a software system to transact your payment.
#5 How are the fundamental problems tied together and how can they be solved. Through simplifying the complexities and understanding the problem at hand.
Opportunities:

#1 Technological growth within the US looks to be continuing throughout the summer. Energy prices look to be going up a tad, but that seems evident with technological fluctuations and advancement as we are getting closer to 2020. Being in the Tampa area, it is a hot bed for technological innovation and progression. Software companies that are simplifying processes in healthcare and finance sectors will affect the US stock market going into 2020. A. I found this information in CNBC. B. Me living in the Tampa, Florida area, where this high technological growth gravitated me toward this article and make me believe it. C. The Healthcare industry will be the primary customer of the technological innovation. D. Difficult to exploit because tech is always changing.
#2 Domestic growth is continuing as well. According to CNBC payroll report shows a gain of 223,000 in May. Well above market expectations of 188,000 while the unemployment rate has hit an 18 year low in the US at 3.8%. We are not only fostering jobs in the technology, healthcare, finance industries which are all sustainable and having incremental growth. But labor jobs, trade jobs are in high demand and are being created which is overall great for the U.S economy. A. I found this on CNBC. B. Me seeing the growth of infrastructure in downtown areas in the US. C. Company's that provide services will be the customer because they need the space. D. Easy to exploit because competition can emerge.
#3 Consumer Protection Initiatives in the Banking industry
Uncertainty in risk and compliance will be a significant challenge in the banking industry. Consumer protection initiatives could help prevent fraud, enforcement of fines, and social media attacks. A. I found this on Deloitte. B. Me being a finance major in the past has attracted me toward news in the industry. C. the Customers of the large financial institutions. D. Difficult to exploit because of regulations already in place.
#4 Regulatory change in Healthcare
California proposal to regulate healthcare rates. A. Found this article on"HealthcareLawtoday" B. Me being interested in Healthcare. C. the patients of physicians and hospitals in the ambulatory sector. D. Easy to exploit because its healthcare and pretty straightforward.

Answer: Just be yourself, in person and on social media, no need to “flex” and act like a person that you are not online, yet a completely different individual in person.
6.       I am bugged when people are close-minded and are not open to new ideas.
Answer: Listen to people that are somewhat rational, you may not need to agree actively, but listen to what people on both sides say, and make a constructive, educational decision on what you believe in, based on the rationality of the subject.
7.       When a bar takes way too long to order a drink
Answer: Unless it is a slammed bar, there is no reason for a bartender to take an extraneously long time to deliver a drink to a patron, it just shouldn’t happen, make it timely.
8.       I am bugged when its an 0-2 count and I guess the wrong pitch the pitcher is throwing
Answer: Life may be a guessing game, and so is baseball, this subject just rattles me when I dont guess correctly, referring to life, its about what is thrown at you and how you adapt, same is for baseball, pitcher throws a pitch and you must adapt to what is thrown. Still bothers me.
9.       I am bugged by people that don’t like Publix subs (yes, I have met someone)
Answer: This is solely of taste, and opinionated, but still bothers me, because there Is a wide variety of options to choose from that are all great

Answer: This is my own personal fault, need to just go to the gym at better times, although sometimes I must go when I can simply just make time for it.
12.   I am bugged when the stock market takes a dip, and I lose significant value in my investments,
Answer: This is just simply a financial burden, and not really a way to solve it, market does what it wants, but there are predictors to make better sound, outcomes on your investments.

Answer: Only bothers me because I don’t see much fulfillment in life here, other than academic achievement.
15.   Not being able to see my dog bothers me
Answer: Make the drive home to see my dog.
16.   Having to deal with classes that are conceptual based that are only study by the book, take an exam. Not a hands on-oriented, creative class like this
Answer: research-based method classes are good to stem learning, but as a college student graduating, taking more application, hands-on, real world like classes are more beneficial at this point in my academic career
17.   Bad Mexican food bothers me, because it disorients my taste buds
Answer: MY own fault, should be going to better restaurants.
18.   People that argue politics blatantly and loudly in public, bother me.
Answer: Speak your mind in a pragmatic, and reasonable way, no need to get overly angry and may lead to impulsive decision making, things you say that you may not have said if you weren’t angry. Don’t let yourself get angry.
19.   People that complain all the time bug me. The reasoning is that people think that complaining about their problems will make them feel better, or magically make them go away, yet no one wants to hear someone complain about things going on, someone always has it worse.
Answer: Complaining can be a catharsis to many of us, I understand this first hand, because I am a college student and am surrounded by college students, must of the problems on my list can be solved by participating in active thinking, before you do something, and avoiding stupidity, which is extremely hard for a variety of people.
20.   The stresses of college bother me
Answer: This resorts to my 19th bug of complaining, I can best solve this problem by understanding what stresses me, and solving that problem, by thinking constructively and thinking things through.

My Entrepreneurship story

Cody's Entrepreneurship story

I do not have a direct Entrepreneurship story, but I have had some severe influences that have led me to adopt an entrepreneurial, adaptive, and open mind when it comes to business, technology, and medicine. I have a friend that has competed in the the UF big event competition for a start up app, that helps simplify time management complexities for individuals of a variety of ages, and his critical thinking, and open-mind for technology and entrepreneurship has rubbed off on me and led me to think vividly and openly, while developing an acute sense for problem solving in those specified fields for an array of individuals. I helped facilitate the sales process for this project, and helped provide the CEO with constructive criticism on how to solve the problems he has in front. It also helped open my mind to how demanding and intricate a career in entrepreneurship is. Entrepreneurship is not necessarily a fact-based approach for what I learned in that process, but people oriented, and how you can solve real-world problems in a pragmatic manner and be aware of the demand of what you are working on, while going with any field, your listening skills need to be unprecedented and be able to understand criticism from a variety of people, while leveraging that criticism in your favor and working toward your end goal.

Why the Dolphins are hopeful they have found a solution to a perpetual roster problem
http://infoweb.newsbank.com.lp.hscl.ufl.edu/resources/doc/nb/news/16C17014B46C1310?p=WORLDNEWS
This article is summing up a perpetual problem that the Miami Dolphins football team has had for the past 10 years, and cant seem to solve the problem using their consistent strategy, the article states they decided not to draft an offensive lineman, but instead draft another player that will help benefit the team. The problem I see here for the organization is a non-producing idea and implementation strategy from the team, and now they are choosing a more innovative route to improve the teams standing.

http://infoweb.newsbank.com.lp.hscl.ufl.edu/resources/doc/nb/news/16C17014AB33E7F0?p=WORLDNEWS
This article shows how important and innovative the transportation and logistics industry is. An app called "Quickload" has emerged. It is solving problems for individuals that need a quick truck load and businesses that need large shipments in a quick manner. This app and idea is truly optimizing the efficiency of these cargo trucks and not letting their be wasted space, and more importantly wasted time.

Does killer of Redskins star Sean Taylor deserve a reduced sentence? A judge decided
http://infoweb.newsbank.com.lp.hscl.ufl.edu/resources/doc/nb/news/16C1644D755755A0?p=WORLDNEWS
Article is saying if the killer of Sean Taylor, the NFL player should deserve a reduced sentence. The article states that the judge ruled that he does not deserve a reduced sentence from his initial 57 year sentence, stating most of his life will be in prison. The defense attorneys for the killer believe he should have it reduced because he killed Taylor when he was 17. The problem is if we should be more lenient toward pre-meditated murders, and also juvenille murders. I believe that at 17 you have a strong understanding of what is right and wrong, and it was also pre-meditated, so I believe he should remain in prison for that duration, he took a human life, a husband and father. The issue here is the murders and society at large.

http://infoweb.newsbank.com.lp.hscl.ufl.edu/resources/doc/nb/news/16C1B8AD5FE79658?p=WORLDNEWS
This article is about the expansion of a Flagami Trolley which is a unique transit area. This plan is roughly 3-6 Billion dollars in the public transit. Essentially this massive public transportation implementation plan will affect the whole Miami public at large, whether it is public transportation occupants or commuters via cars, it will be affecting the whole city as a whole, transportation-wise.

Forming an Opportunity Belief

I do believe that an Opportunity belief is in play. In this country, specifically, everyone has opportunities to progress in life or digress. We have the ability to improve everyday. Some people have more resources than others, but an unprecedented work ethic, understanding of your passion, and what you are good at is key to optimizing your opportunity and turn it into something of success.I wanted to be a pro baseball player at 17-18 years old as a senior in high school and recent graduate, then my ideology changed, rapidly. I understood that i was talented, but it was a far-fetched goal that wasn't necessarily realistic. Yet, I was able to develop an internal locus of control, and believe that I can control my future with the things ahead of me, not everything, but most things. Now as a 22 year old going on 23 I have a more vivid understanding of the demand and supply of the markets that I want to go into. My passions, my talents, and my work ethic. My unmet need is a certain level of success/wealth that i am hungry, and ambitious to acquire. I have that need, the need came from my own internal locus of control. People are going to college to meet this need, networking with successful, intelligent, knowledgeable people. Listening, and finding the right job/industry to help satisfy this need. I am 110% percent sure this opportunity exists considering I have felt myself grow as an individual and professional the past few years, and my mind has opened up to learn from others.
My prototypical customer would be someone in the Healthcare industry that needs a different software program, I am the sales person and am selling it. I would need to gain an understanding of their primary needs as well as their secondary needs. And develop a consultative approach, or possibly a transactional, depending on the nature of the business and the relationship with the customer. My reflection for this opportunity would be to address my adaptive listening skills, and develop a win-win for me and the customer, not just shoving a product or service down their throat that they dont need, which is often a common practice for most companies. I believe my original opportunity will still be there if I apply those ethics to the customers in my desired industry, I believe my opportunity will still be accurate, but would need to see how the approach plays out and learn from there. I believe Entrepreneurs should always be listening to customer feedback. A lot of Entrepreneurs are in the tech industry, which is constantly evolving and is a good idea to learn from respected individuals or even new clients. Customer feedback is very important.

2.       When you are playing fortnite and your squad cant pull their weight
Answer: Work with your teammates, foster better teamwork, and communication skills, work at it.
3.       When you are driving, and someone cuts you off because they are impulsive
Answer: Drive like a normal human being, obey traffic laws, don’t be stupid.
4.       When you are working out and someone doesn’t re-rack their weights
Answer: Be courteous of others, don’t be selfish and not pick up after yourself, think rational.
5.       When people act a certain way on social media, but are completely different in person
Answer: This is solely of taste, and opinionated, but still bothers me, because there Is a wide variety of options to choose from that are all great
10.   Long drives with someone playing bad music, disrupts my brain
Answer: This is a tough one, because it is mentally deteriorating. You want to listen to something that is somewhat agreeable among friends, not just something to the equivalent of someone scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard.
11.   When you go to the gym at the wrong time and it is too packed
13.   When you are walking outside, and mother nature decides to start pouring down rain like Southeast Asian Monsoon.
Answer: Not necessarily a straightforward answer to this, unless you bring an umbrella, or get lucky and it doesn’t start monsooning when you are outside.
14.    Being in Gainesville over the Summer bugs me because it takes away from living my actual life.
Not a hands on-oriented, creative class like this
Answer: research-based method classes are good to stem learning, but as a college student graduating, taking more application, hands-on, real world like classes are more beneficial at this point in my academic career.
